Iza Calzado announces birth of daughter, names baby after 'Encantadia' character
Iza Calzado has given birth to her first child!
On Instagram, the actress shared a photo of her baby girl showing her mouth, chin, and tiny hands.
According to Iza, the baby girl was born on January 26. She is also named after her mom's "Encantadia" character!
"Words can't describe the love we're feeling as we introduce our precious baby girl, Deia Amihan Calzado Wintle," she said.
"She's already stolen our hearts and brought so much joy into our lives," she added. "We're so grateful for the love and support from our family and friends, and can't wait for all the adventures that lie ahead."
Last January 25, Iza said she was taking a social media break to focus on the transition period of becoming a mom.
Prior to that, Iza posted pictures of her maternity shoot. She dressed up as her character Sang'gre Amihan from the 2005 version of "Encantadia."
Iza married Ben Wintle in 2018.
