Graphic artist of 'Zero Kilometers Away' proposes to GF with Easter egg in Episode 5

The graphic artist of "Zero Kilometers Away" used an episode of the digital series to propose to his girlfriend!

Alvin Caintic, who creates the on-screen pop-ups for the show, placed on Easter egg on Episode 5 as Ardi, Mavy Legaspi's character, was scrolling on social media. 

One of the posts that appears on the newsfeed is a photo collage showing Alvin and his girlfriend, as well as a black velvet box with a ring.

"Will you marry me?" the caption underneath read.

According to Alvin, he originally planned to propose to his girlfriend in Luneta.

"May special meaning kasi 'yun para sa kanya. Tapos Kilometer Zero pa. Kaso umulan that time," he said.

"Naisip ko na isingit ko na lang sa graphics ng digital series, kasi nanonood siya nu'n. Para may surprise factor dito," he continued.

Alvin then pulled off the proposal as his girlfriend was watching the episode.

"Habang nanonood siya, pinause ko," he said. Nagulat siya noong pinabasa ko sa kanya 'yung nakasulat sa caption. Paglingon niya, hawak ko na 'yung singsing."

Of course, she said yes and they are now happily engaged. Congratulations!
