Klea Pineda's mom shares sweet message for daughter after her coming out: 'love you'

After Klea Pineda came out on her 24th birthday, her mom, Charito Ping Pineda, had nothing but the sweetest message for her.

"Happy birthday my first born. Always proud of you, we love you so much!" Klea's mom wrote in the caption of photos with the Kapuso actress.

"Sana napasaya ka namin sa araw mo!" Charito added, using a rainbow emoji.

"Love you mommy!!!" Klea replied in the comments. She also used the LGBT+ flag emoji in her message.

Klea made the big reveal about her sexuality on Sunday, saying in the most recent episode of "Updated with Nelson Canlas" that she has a "rainbow heart."

In the podcast, Klea shared how her mom and family found out she was gay: "Hindi ko kasi sa kanila inamin e, actually nahuli ako ."

Klea Pineda currently stars on the TV series, "AraBella," on GMA.
