This is what made Derrick Monasterio fall for Elle Villanueva

Derrick Monasterio has found the person that he wants to be his life partner, and it's none other than Elle Villanueva.

Recently, Elle admitted that Derrick has been courting her.

In an interview with PEP.ph, Derrick said, "As much as possible, gusto ko siya na."

The Kapuso actor went on to say that what he likes about Elle is "sobrang concerned siya sa growth ko."

"Halimbawa, magulo ang kotse ko, sasabihin niyang, 'Ayusin naman natin yan. For our mental health yan. 'Pag maayos ang mga gamit sa paligid mo, maayos din ang utak mo,'" he said. "'Yung mga ganun. Sabi ko, 'Wow, iba 'to a.'"

With both of them now 27 years old, Derrick said that it's about time that he finds the person he wants to settle down with.

However, given their careers, he said that the ideal age for him to truly settle down is around 35 or 40 years old.

"Gusto ko by thirty-five, or forty, parang... I mean, maayos na 'yun. At saka, alam ko na 'yung direksyon," he said. "Maaga mag-retire, forty or forty-five, gusto ko nagta-travel na ako sa buong mundo."

He is also putting to rest the "playboy image" he used to have.

"Sa sarili ko na lang din... wala na. Syempre, nag-ma-mature na, tumatanda. Kailangan na ring ayusin ang buhay."

Derrick and Elle recently starred in the drama "Return to Paradise" together.
