Saab Magalona dances with son Pancho, shares why music is important to them
Nothing connects people like music, and Saab Magalona's family knows that very well.
On Instagram, the singer shared a video of her carrying her son Pancho as they danced to the “Red Light, Green Light” nursery rhyme. They wore big smiles as they grooved to the song.
Saab said in her caption that Pancho “was so overjoyed, he kissed me out of nowhere[.]”
She then shared why their family loves music.
“Both our boys are very interested in music and it’s actually the reason Jim and I really confirmed that Pancho could understand us when he was a baby!” Saab said.
“When Pancho was a baby, he didn’t look us in the eyes, didn’t smile at us, but it was when he would react to certain music and look for patterns in songs that we were able to communicate with him,” she added. “What a long way we’ve come[.]”
Saab’s youngest son Vito is also a huge music lover, impressively showing off his singing skills to The Beatles and how he can play the drums to songs by the Foo Fighters, Arcade Fire, and Death Cab for Cutie.
Saab and Jim Bacarro tied the knot in 2015 and have two sons, Pancho and Vito. The couple are also musicians and members of the band Cheats.
In a vlog, Saab revealed the details of Pancho's birth story, and how he bravely fought through his health challenges.
