Kylie Verzosa admits dating Marco Gumabao in the past: ‘We tried’

With the chemistry between Kylie Verzosa and Marco Gumabao, some couldn’t help but wonder if the two ever had a thing going on before.

On Wednesday’s episode of “Fast Talk with Boy Abunda,” the Miss International 2016 admitted that they did date in the past. 

“A long time before Jake [Cuenca], long way before Jake, mga two years ago,” Kylie said. “Yeah, we tried it out but you know, bata pa kami no’n eh.”

“We remain very good friends and happy ako sa lahat ng pinagdaanan niya sa buhay niya. I have seen him grow as an actor, as a person. Nag-ka-catch up pa rin kami.”

Kylie went on to describe the actor who is someone “smart and very level-headed.”

Meanwhile, Kylie said she is still in no contact with ex-boyfriend Jake since their separation. They were together for three years.

“I know it’s been a long time pero siguro in time. Only time will tell kung we’re able to already see each other in a very [friendly] setting,” she said.

“Ayoko siya pilitin pero darating din ang panahon [na] we’ll meet each other,” she continued.

Kylie and Marco are currently starring in the movie “Baby Boy, Baby Girl” together. — LA, GMA Integrated News
