Kristoffer Martin opens up on 'hiding' his daughter Pré

Kristoffer Martin admitted in 2021 that he was a father to a then four-year-old girl, Precious Christine or Pré.

On Wednesday's episode of "Fast Talk With Boy Abunda," the Sparkle actor opened up on why he was late in introducing her to the public.

"Bakit n'yo itinago ang baby?" the King of Talk asked.

Kristoffer said he and his then-partner AC Banzon did not really hide their child.

"Hindi naman natin tinago, kasi nung lumabas na po si Pré tapos lumaki na, lumalabas kami as family," he said.

"'Yung number one rule ko nun, kapag may nakakita sa amin, pag may nagtanong, 'Anak n'yo po 'yan? Sasabihin ko po, 'Opo,'" he added.

Tito Boy then clarified that he had no intention of denying his daughter, and the "Mga Lihim ni Urduja" star agreed.

They just chose not to announce it to the public then.

"Bata pa po kami [noon] hindi pa po kami kasal," he said. "Ang unang-unang papasok [sa isip ko] bilang artista, pa'no 'yung career ko?"

Kristoffer previously said his peers in showbiz knew of his daughter. Some of them were even godparents to Pré, such as Alden Richards and Rodjun Cruz.

The actor is now married to AC. They tied the knot in Capas, Tarlac in February last year.
