Beauty Gonzalez recalls courting stage with husband Norman: 'I didn't take it seriously'

Beauty Gonzalez is living the dream. Happily married to Norman Crisologo, the two have a beautiful daughter named Olivia.

On Friday's "Fast Talk with Boy Abunda," the Kapuso actress shared how it all started.

"He saw me in a magazine and then he invited me to the Esquire Ball and that's the first time we met," Beauty began.

The two started emailing each other two months after, but according to Beauty, "I didn't take it seriously kasi andun siya sa Paris."

"Ako napapagod mag-reply ng English. Nagche-check pa ko sa Pinterest, pakopya-kopya," she recalls laughing. "Kapagod mag-isip uy!" Beauty added.

And then Norman asked her to go to Paris. "Sabi ko, o sige go. Pagdating ko duon, I really didn't take it seriously. But when I saw him and  how nice he was, wala na Tito Boy," she narrated.

"Hindi na kami naghiwalay," Beauty said.

According to the actress, she didn't need a long time to discern whether or not Norman was The One. "When I met Norman, I know this guy — that's why I feel beautiful. He allows me to work, to do anything, he allows me to be a woman," Beauty said.

"And I'm not scared because I know, no matter what happens, he's always going to be there. Whether it's bad or wrong, he's ready to hold my hand. No judgement."

Beauty added, "He allows me to be who I am, to grow and be the person that I am."

In the same interview, she admitted to having imposter syndrome, and said her husband was her therapist. "He's the best," Beauty said.
