When will Rabiya Mateo be ready for marriage and motherhood?

In two years.

That's when Rabiya Mateo thinks she'll ready for marriage and motherhood.

On "Fast Talk with Boy Abunda," Rabiya Mateo said that while she does want to get married, "di agad-agad."

"Siguro in two years," the beauty queen said. "Kasi gusto ko maging nanay na," she added.

"Parang I can see myself — pero hindi lang naman kasi 'yung decision na ako 'yung gagawa. Kami dalawa dapat ka-partner," she quickly reasoned.

For the first time ever, Rabiya shared the real reason she and ex, Neil Salvacion, broke up: It was because he proposed to her, and she wasn't ready yet at the time.

"During that time, I was just 23," she said.

"He was ready to settle na because feeling niya, okay na siya sa buhay. Pero ako, I wanna aspire to be more, so doon kami nagkaroon ng conflict," recalled the "Tic O' Clock host.

And now that she's made something of herself, Rabiya feels she's ready for marriage.

"Feeling ko na fulfill ko 'yung pangarap for my family. Nabilhan ko ng bahay si mama. Nabigyan ko sila na — 'yung savings, nakaipon na po ako," she said.

Upon hearing her two-year timeline, Tito Boy asked Rabiya if someone proposes now, if would she consider a long engagement.

"Yes," she said.

Rabiya's last relationship is with Kapuso actor Jeric Gonzales, who said in an earlier episode on "Fast Talk with Boy Abunda" that they are in the process of getting back together. — LA, GMA Integrated News
