Winwyn Marquez reflects on motherhood: 'Being a mother is a full-time job, and there are no days off'
After nearly 10 months of raising baby Luna, Winwyn Marquez took to social media to share what she has learned so far about motherhood and parenting.
On Instagram Monday, the Kapuso star posted adorable selfies with Luna and said, "Taking care of Luna 24 hours a day, I've learned to make compromises and to be okay with those sacrifices."
The 2017 Miss Reina Hispanoamericana said through motherhood, she has accepted that there will always be good and bad days.
"I've also said this a million times: being a mother is a full-time job, and there are no days off," she added. "I am just fortunate that there are people who are by my side, helping whenever they can, and a partner who provides and is always present."
Nonetheless, Winwyn said that being a parent is indeed a gift that keeps on giving.
"Whether you have help or not, parenting is difficult but rewarding. Seeing Luna hit milestone after milestone, iba talaga sa pakiramdam kaya lahat worth it,” she said.
Winwyn ended her post by thanking her 9-month-old daughter for being a "happy baby."
"Thank you, Luna, for making it a little easier for mama. Please keep on smiling, my baby. I love you forever," she ended.
In May 2022, WInwyn announced she had given birth to Luna.
