Proud Sunshine Cruz on her honor student daughters: 'You girls inspire me to work harder'

Sunshine Cruz couldn’t help but show off after her daughters bagged honorable mentions in school!

On Instagram Saturday, Sunshine posted a photo of Angelina, Sam, and Chesca in their new home along with an appreciation caption.

“I’m so proud of these girls!” the “Underage” actress began.

“Congratulations Angelina for being a dean’s lister once again, Sam and Chesca for being 2nd and 3rd honors,” she wrote. “You girls inspire me to work harder and to always aim to be a better version of myself because you three deserve the best in life.”

Sunshine then thanked her three daughters for giving importance to their studies.

“Thank you mga anak for the effort,” she said. “Mahal ko [kayo!]”

In an episode of “Fast Talk with Boy Abunda” earlier this month, Sunshine opened up about her split with Macky Mathay, saying that the breakup involved some trust issues.

Sunshine and Macky had been together for quite sometime. Meanwhile, her marriage with Cesar Montano was annulled in 2018, but they have been spending time together for their kids. —LBG, GMA Integrated News
