Carla and Tom have been together for seven years before they married in October 2021. Tom announced their divorce in July last year.
Asked if she feels like her life was stolen from her, Carla said she does not feel that way. Right now, she said she is in the process of forgiving herself.
"Basically just focusing on what you have, what blessings you have, being grateful parang lang hindi po lalong malunod," she said.
"Getting to know myself better, trying to figure out my value, 'yung aking worth, trying to give myself more respect."
In the same interview, Carla said she has been granted a temporary protection order against Tom.
She also said she has received the divorce decree granted by the US court and has already filed a petition for the recognition of the foreign judgment.
