Arnold Clavio has a witty gift for his wife on Valentine's Day.

Since it's the season for splurging on expensive bouquets, the GMA News pillar did exactly that — except instead of flowers, it's onions.

Greeting his wife on Instagram, he wrote, "Happy ’s Day Mamu … And you deserve the most expensive bouquet on this special day."

He also posted a Valentine's Day greeting for his Instagram followers that showed him dressed in all red.

Clavio's not the only one defying Valentine's traditions. Other Pinoys have been ditching the traditional bouquet of flowers for something more unique like a bouquet of chicharon bulaklak or vegetables .
