Luis Manzano clapped back at a netizen who questioned why he hides his daughter's face on social media.
The TV host recently shared a photo of him holding his baby girl, Isabella Rose, with her face covered by a rosebud.
However, it seems like some netizens did not like this and compared Luis to other celebrity parents who are more open about their children.
"Bakit ganon... ayaw nila reveal agad anak nila... nanakawin ba? Di katulad ng mag-asawang Drew [Arellano] at Iya [Villania] reveal agad walang arte," a commenter wrote.
("Why won't they reveal their children's face? Are they going to be kidnapped? Unlike Drew and Iya, they revealed right away without fuss.")
Luis replied, "Ikaw nga post ng post ng pic mo e di namin hinihingi."
("What about you, you keep posting your photos even though we don't ask for them.")
Others, meanwhile, reminded their fellow netizens to respect the privacy of celebrities.
"They are celebs, yes. Pero they have all the right to decide whether to show the face of their child or not. Kung kelan at paano. People tend to forget ang salitang privacy kahit pa artista sila," one commenter said.
Some celebrities post hold off on showing their children's faces on social media, especially when they are just born. Among them are Solenn Heussaff and Jennylyn Mercado, who both waited some time before introducing their little ones to the world.
Isabella Rose is Luis's daughter with Jessy Mendiola. The couple tied the knot in February 2021. They welcomed their baby girl this January.
