Sunshine Cruz, Cesar Montano welcome 2023 with their children
Sunshine Cruz and Cesar Montano just welcomed the new year with their modern family!
On Instagram, one of their daughters, Angelina, shared photos from their trip as they ushered in the new year in Bohol.
Cesar and Sunshine were all smiles as they spent quality time with their children on the beach. Angelina shared selfies with her father, sisters Chesca and Sam, and half-brother Diego Loyzaga.
"Entering 2023 with the right people," she wrote in the caption with a black heart emoji.
Meanwhile, Sunshine shared several photos from Bohol and ended her series with a shot of their group, as she thanked her ex-husband and presumably his wife for hosting their dinner.
"Cesar and Kath, thanks for hosting tonight’s dinner," she began. "The girls and I had a wonderful time chatting and catching up with all of you. We’ve missed Bohol and masaya kami na nakasama namin kayo dito sa New Year celebration."
"Once again, Happy New Year everyone from our family to yours," Sunshine ended her post.
Curiously too, Teresa Loyzaga — Diego's mom and Cesar's ex — left a comment: "Wow! Happy New Year everyone!! God Bless!!"
In a previous reels post by Sunshine, she also commented her pleasant surprise and left a joyous greeting: Wow! Happy New Year to all of you! Enjoy! Have a great time! Cheers to 2023!!! More Blessings to all of us!! God Bless!"
"Happy New Year Tong. We miss you!!" Sunshine replied.
The very first time Sunshine and Cesar were seen in one frame following their annulment in 2018 was during their daughter Sam's 18th birthday last year.
Since then, Cesar has been spending time with his children from time to time.
Before 2022 ended, Sunshine took to social media to reflect on how "love and forgiveness" prevailed in their family.
