Catriona Gray says Christmas this year 'hits different' as she reunites with parents

Catriona Gray reunited with her parents this Christmas in Western Australia, so holidays this year just “hits different" for her.

On Instagram, the Miss Universe 2018 queen admitted that she took time for granted, “always talking about ‘next time[,’] the 'next [Christmas]'...like it was guaranteed.”

“But earlier this year when my papa was in the hospital, I felt like I had run out of time," Catriona said.

She added, “So being at home with them, dancing in our chairs to Elvis, giggling over a glass of wine and taking our evening walks... every moment feels like such a gift.”

The beauty queen and host thanked God for her family and the time she still has with them.

“This truly is the greatest gift I could've ever asked for,” Catriona added. “Happy Holidays from the Gray family!”
