Juliana Gomez on being an only child: ‘It’s not lonely at all’

Juliana Gomez doesn’t mind being an only child.

In an episode of “Surprise Guest with Pia Arcangel,” the only daughter of Richard Gomez and Lucy Torres said that she’s completely fine with just the three of them.

“It was never really not wanting a sibling,” Juliana said. “It was more like, I’m all right [with life] just being the three of us.”

She also pointed out they are always surrounded by so many friends, it makes her feel like she has a “big” family.

“So it’s nice to come home to just two people you’re really comfortable with,” she added.

Moreover, the 22-year-old said that being an only child doesn’t feel lonely because her parents are also friends with her circle and vice versa.

“It’s not lonely at all, because we’re very much in each other’s lives,” she said.

“I think I’ve reached that age where we just talk about the same things, and we all just get along as friends,” she added.

In the podcast, Juliana also told how she ended up going to prom with her childhood friend Andres Muhlach, the son of Aga Muhlach and Charlene Gonzales.

Juliana also said she’s in touch with Andres’ sister, Atasha, who represented the Philippines at this year’s prestigious Le Bal des Débutantes in Paris.

Last month, Juliana made headlines for winning gold in fencing competitions in Thailand and Indonesia. — LA, GMA Integrated News
