Aubrey Miles reveals daughter Rocket's first full sentence on her 4th birthday
Aubrey Miles and Troy Montero's daughter Rocket is now four years old, and on Instagram, the proud mom posted a reel of how they celebrated Rocket's birthday.
"Happy Birthday to our dearest Rocket," Aubrey began as she gave a cool little trivia about the celebrant: "Do you guys know, her first full sentence is 'Happy birthday to you'?"
She highlighted the fact because Rocket has Autism Spectrum Disorder, and she's primarily a non-verbal child so seemingly small things like a line off the happy birthday song are definite wins to be celebrated.
Aubrey has been very vocal about Rocket's condition and uses her social media platform to share her experiences in raising her daughter — such as throwing a simply birthday party.
"For parents who have a child with ASD know the challenges [of] throwing a party for their child, especially with lots of people," she said.
"At her age[,] we're still trying to figure out what she can tolerate and her vibe with loud music and lots of people," Aubrey continued.
The intimate party at home, she said, is "already big for her," with Rocket even getting scared when they lit the birthday candle.
"[It's] my fault because I got one of those flower candles with music," she admitted.
After sharing more of the challenges she encountered with Rocket during the party, including taking a good photo, Aubrey said she's constantly getting to know more about her daughter.
"We're practicing and learning so much from her," she said. "It's humbling, and patience is infinite."
"We love you, Rocket. Happy Birthday," Aubrey ended her note.
Rocket is Aubrey's youngest daughter to Troy Montero. They have another child named Hunter.
