Barbie Forteza and Jak Roberto reveal that their first date nearly ended in disaster

First dates are important because you'll remember them forever, but Barbie Forteza and Jak Roberto's first date was memorable for a funny reason.

In an interview on 'Updated with Nelson Canlas,' the Kapuso celebrity couple shared that the special night took place in a 4D theater where they enjoyed a movie together.

However, since the comfy chairs were moving throughout the film, Jak's wallet fell from his pocket.

"After ng movie, sa parking na kami, hinanap ko ‘yung ticket ng parking kasi babayaran sa labas," Jak recalled. "Hinanap ko ‘yung wallet ko, wala nalaglag."

He then tried to keep calm and convince himself that the wallet will eventually be found.

However, he was worried about leaving without his license.

"Sa isip-isip ko, mag-da-drive ako walang lisensya," he said. "Paano kung kasama ko si Barbie tapos mahuli kami? Nandu’n na ‘yung panic ko.  Tapos wala akong lisensya nakakahiya naman first date napa-trouble kaagad si madam."

Not to mention the fact that he couldn't pay for the parking because of the missing ticket.

"Napakiusapan ko na lang. Nalaglag ‘yung ticket. Tapos nakilala naman kami, so binayaran ko pa rin naman ‘yung penalty sa ticket pag nawala," he said.

The next day, Jak's wallet was found, but they've both decided after — "Sa mga mag-fi-first date, ‘wag 4D."

In any case, Jak and Barbie are now five years strong! They celebrated their anniversary in May by going to a trip to Bohol. —JCB, GMA Integrated News
