Sharon Cuneta is one proud mom as her daughter Miel slays on the cover of Nylon magazine.
On Instagram, the Megastar shared photos of Miel being all cool and chill in cute outfits and expressed pride on how "incredibly confident" she is.
"She has no body image issues and from our talks, I sense that she wants to encourage girls and women to be proud of themselves no matter what the world demands what they do, say, or look like," Sharon said.
"I am also glad that her generation now looks down on body shaming (whether people are too thin or too curvy) and thinks of it as being so out and so low," she added.
Apart from Miel's advocacies, Sharon also couldn't help but appreciate her daughter's features.
"What a face, this girl. Yes, we look alike, but I really believe she has a better version of my face," she said.
Sharon said this is Miel's first solo cover. As such, it truly is a milestone worth of a "congratulations!"
Last June, Sharon also served as Miel's number one supporter when she came out as a member of the LGBT community. She expressed happiness for having a "happier daughter who is now free."
