Carla Abellana admits it's difficult to talk about split with Tom Rodriguez

Carla Abellana is just beginning to open up on her separation from former husband Tom Rodriguez.

In Nelson Canlas' report on "24 Oras Weekend," Sunday, which showed part of her interview in "Updated With Nelson Canlas," Carla said she still finds it difficult to talk about her experience.

"There's always pressure to speak up, to give answers," said the Kapuso actress, who has been staying silent on the issue for months now.

"Kasi may tendency na, you know, people think we owe them an explanation or we owe them answers na mahirap because kumbaga nawawala 'yung line or parang boundary [ng privacy]," she said.

Tom and Carla tied the knot in October last year. Speculations of their split began in January when Tom unfollowed Carla on Instagram.

Carla admitted she is still hurting from what happened, even though she has been smiling and laughing in her recent vlogs and interviews.

"Hindi naman din ibig sabihin na hindi ka umiiyak eh 'yung hindi ka in pain or you're not hurting," she said.

"Hindi naman to 'yung tipong nanakawan ka lang ng gamit di ba, ang daling tanggapin at mag-move on. It's a serious personal change in your life."

The first part of the "Updated With Nelson Canlas" interview will stream on Tuesday while the second part will stream on Friday.
