Nick Carter mourns brother Aaron: 'My heart is broken'
Nick Carter is mourning the loss of his brother, Aaron.
On social media, the Backstreet Boys member posted old photos of the two of them and said "My heart is broken."
While admitting he had a complicated relationship with Aaron, Nick said "my love for him has never ever faded."
"I have always held on to the hope that he would somehow, someday want to walk a healthy path and eventually find the help that he so desperately needed," Nick continued.
"The truth is that addiction and mental illness is the real villain here," Nick said.
"I will miss my brother more than anyone will ever know. I love you Chizz. Now you can finally have the peace you could never find here on earth….I love you baby brother."
Aaron Carter was found dead in his home on Saturday afternoon. He was 34.
Tributes immediately poured in, including Hilary Duff who said "boy did my teenage self love you deeply."
