Bea Alonzo and Dominic Roque celebrate 'the day we saw each other in a different light'

Even after Bea Alonzo confirmed her relationship to Dominic Roque, the two kept their love story shrouded in mystery.

Thankfully, the couple are getting comfortable in sharing more details about their romance.

On Instagram Friday, Bea shared a photo of Dominic looking sharp in his white button-own, helping himself to some sushi. 

She geotagged it at YARD Restaurant, in Italy's Verona City, and said they were celebrating something special.

"We ordered sushi to celebrate our trip to Japan on Nov.3, 2019," the Start-Up PH actress began.

According to Bea, that day was when "we saw each other in a different light other than being platonic friends."

"That day was extraordinary," Bea continued. "And I still feel kilig whenever I’d remember that gaze he was giving me on the train while I was explaining to him the dream movie concept I had in my mind."

"No one’s listened to me so intently like that, like he was so interested in what I had to say," she added.

"Parang nag-slomo ang mundo at walang ibang tao kundi kaming dalawa lang," Bea said, as though reading from a script.

After their Japan trip, the two dated for more than a year before finally, officially becoming a couple in January 2021.

It took another several months before Bea finally confirmed her relationship to Dominic, in August 2021. 

In her caption, she toasted her boyfriend, before saying yet again that she loves him. "Cheers to more moments like that, hun. I love you." — LA, GMA Integrated News
