Miss Grand International 2020 candidates Fabiola Valentin and Mariana Varela tie the knot

Two Miss Grand International 2020 candidates surprised the world on Wednesday when they revealed they've gotten married.

Fabiola Valentin from Puerto Rico and Mariana Varela from Argentina tied the knot on October 28, and made the announcement after keeping their relationship largely under wraps.

“After deciding to keep our relationship private, we opened the doors to them on a special day,” Fabiola said on Instagram.

In the accompanying video, she shared snippets of their relationship, from sweet kisses and trips to the beach, to their engagement.

Back in August, the couple shared a photo together with the caption, "A summer with you."
