Rita Daniela says the most beautiful award she can get is to be a mom

Just a few more months before Rita Daniela welcomes her baby!

On Cata Tibayan’s “24 Oras” report Wednesday, Rita said more than the awards she’s been getting, she is entirely just thankful that she is about to be a mom.

“It’s humbling, 'di ba? The awards, most especially this award that I got from New York, Manhattan. But really, the most beautiful award I can ever receive is to be called a mom, a mother,” she said.

“This is something [na] hindi makukuha sa akin ng kahit sino. Hindi ‘to mapapalitan,” she added.

Just recently, Rita won the Jury Prize at this year’s International Film Festival Manhattan for “Huling Ulan sa Tag-Araw.” That’s after she was also nominated for a FAMAS award.

She announced her pregnancy in June then shared it was going to be a boy, whom she’ll name Uno. — Franchesca Viernes/BM, GMA News
