Mavy reveals he promised himself in 2018 to bring a specific someone to Korea's love lock tower
Mavy Legaspi is out there making everyone kilig again.
In the latest episode of their Spotify vodcast “MavLine On Me,” titled “What was your best and worst vacation?” Mavy shared that his favorite one would be his recent trip to South Korea, which was his first solo trip out of the country.
Aside from wanting to experience independent travel and self-discovery on this six-day trip, Mavy said that it was “life-changing” and that he had a particularly memorable experience.
This was because Mavy made a promise to himself during a 2018 Korea vacation with his family, and now it came true.
“Nilagay ko sa Namsan Tower… I wrote something — di ko na i-me-mention, it’s for you guys to guess and find out — [sa lock], I wrote a promise to myself na the next time I come back here, kasama ko na siya,” he said.
Kyline asked, “Sinong siya?”
The pair simply laughed.
Mavy then said, “This year, I came back to N Seoul Tower and I was with that very, very, very special someone.”
Although he didn't name names, he jokingly added, “Hindi naman masyadong halata, ‘no? Hindi obvious, ‘no?”
The actor said that it was a very special experience, and the "best feeling."
"Napaka-special nun sa kin because after all these years, nangyari na yung wish ko na God really blessed me with someone so special. And it was the right time — perfect time, and it happened.”
In July, MavLine posted photos at the tower, a destination famous for couples to write their names on padlocks to symbolize their promise of love by throwing away the key. —JCB, GMA News
