Lauren Young looks back on childhood fights with siblings Megan and Victor

Megan and Lauren Young, along with their brother Victor were not immune to petty childhood fights.

In a Facebook Live session on “Wish Ko Lang’s” page, Lauren shared some of her own memories, fighting her brother and sister.

“Ako sa totoo lang, hindi ako nakikipag-away nung bata ako. Good girl ako—char, anyare!” She joked.

“Nakikipag-away ako kina Megan, kina Victor,” the actress admitted, adding their fights were often "kapag nag-a-agawan kami sa TV, kapag nag-a-agawan kami ng damit, ng laruan, ganyan. So yun yung mga away bata namin.”

Lauren is one of the stars of the “Wish Ko Lang” episode titled “Away Bata,” which aired last Saturday. She plays Janice, a mom of two kids, who get into fight with another kid, which then leads to a bigger fight involving the parents.

In her livestream, Lauren said the biggest lesson she learned from playing Janice is to not take their young kids’ fights personally.

“Pagdating sa mga away bata na ganyan, dapat hindi nakikisali ang magulang kasi hindi niyo naman away. Di ba, bilang magulang ‘to, bilang adults—away yan ng mga bata,” she said.

“At tsaka yung mga bata, short-term memory lang yan pagdating sa mga away nila na ganyan. So eventually magkakabati din sila and magiging maayos ang lahat. Magiging magkalaro ulit sila.”
