'Oro Plata Mata' is now on Netflix

“Oro Plata Mata” is now available for streaming on Netflix.

The 1982 war film directed by Peque Gallaga with screenplay by Jose Javier Reyes is now considered a classic film.

The film follows two haciendera families who deal with the changes brought about by World War II.

“Oro, Plata, Mata” is structured in three parts based on the Spanish title.

Oro or gold, follows the main characters in their luxurious lives.

In plata or silver, they are still living the high life but in a provincial hacienda.

Finally, in mata, meaning bad luck or death, they move to the mountains but are victimized by bandits.
