Buboy Villar talks about co-parenting with ex Angillyn Gorens: ‘Close friends kami’

It’s been years since Buboy Villar and Angillyn Gorens broke off their engagement, but the two remain on good terms.

In his guesting on the GMA News and Public Affairs' showbiz podcast “Updated with Nelson Canlas,” Buboy talked a bit about their co-parenting setup for their kids Vlanz Karollyn and George Michael.

The Kapuso actor defines their current arrangement as “masaya” and that they are close friends.

“Masaya, magkaibigan kami kumbaga. Chill lang kami ngayon. Lagi kaming nagkakabiruan, nandoon kami sa stage na ganun. Close friends kami, as in special friend kasi siyempre nanay siya ng mga anak namin, tatay ako ng mga anak namin,” he said.

Buboy added that although there are unavoidable challenges in life, they help each other out.

“Nagtutulungan kaming dalawa para mas mapanatili namin mabuti yung sarili namin para rin sa mga anak namin. At basta masaya kami ngayon. Happy kami.”

Buboy also said that they have no reasons to have any fights or arguments.

“Wala na kaming dapat pagawayan, kungbaga wala naman dapat siyang patunayan. Maganda siya, gwapo ako,” he said.

“Magaling siya magluto, talented ako. Kungbaga appreciate natin 'yong mga little things natin sa buhay.”
