Bianca Umali and Ruru Madrid have undergone Bea Alonzo's lie detector challenge together!

In the first couple edition of the series, Bianca and Ruru bravely answered questions on their career and personal lives. 

This came just three weeks after they publicly admitted that they have been dating for four years.

They also shared why chose a smiley face for their matching hand tattoos.

"Para pag nakikita namin, happy lang kami," Ruru said. "Kahit magkaaway kami, 'Ay, bati na tayo.'"

In the first part of the challenge, the couple answered questions individually.

Ruru kept laughing his nerves off and answered most of the questions honestly. But he was hilariously caught on a lie when he said he has never used an alibi to skip taping.

Bianca, meanwhile, was calmer and more pensive with her answers.

Asked if she thinks the showbiz industry is a toxic environment, she said it can be.

"It's not for the ill-hearted and you have to be in it for the right reasons. If you're not in it for the right reasons then everything will go down," she said.

The second part of the lie detector challenge will be uploaded on Bea's vlog next week. This time, the couple will answer the questions simultaneously.

Ruru is the lead star of GMA-7's action-drama adventure "Lolong," which airs on weeknights after "24 Oras." He is also on "Running Man PH."

Bianca, meanwhile, recently starred on "Legal Wives." She is currently preparing for a big project that is still undisclosed.
