Kyla recalls meeting husband Rich Alvarez for the first time in 2004

Thank you Kyla for dousing our Tuesday with much-needed kilig.

On Instagram, the R&B singer posted a photo from 2004 with her husband, basketball player Rich Alvarez, and narrated how they met for the first time. 

Displaying quite the memory, Kyla narrated it with incredible detail: How she performed for Regine Velasquez's concert in Araneta Coliseum, how she sang "Somewhere Over the Rainbow" and it was "buwis buhay mumsh," how Rich went backstage to see her after the show.

"Pinuntahan niya ko sa backstage, asked me to sign 3 of my albums, and then a picture. Eh ang cute," Kyla wrote.

"Kilig ako dyan. 'Di ko lang pinahalata. Syempre. Dalagang Pilipina," she added.

"Who would’ve thought I’d marry this man years later. 'Kala ko nga dati, walang magkakagusto sa kin. Hahaha! La lang. Share ko lang," Kyla ended her note clearly kilig.

But it doesn't end there. In the comments, more details were revealed courtesy of fellow singers Jolina Magdangal and Karylle.

According to Jolina, they went to eat somewhere in Tomas Morato post-show, where Kyla shared meeting Rich.

"Ay!! Naalala ko nung kumain tayo nina Karylle sa Tomas Morato tapos kinwento mo yan!!!! Kiliiiiig!" Jolina said.

"Debahhhhhhhh!!!!" Karylle piped in excitedly. "Somewhere over the araneta...may Rich Alvarez & Kyla."
