Tom Rodriguez months after split with Carla Abellana: 'I'm okay'

Tom Rodriguez said he is doing well months after his split with estranged wife Carla Abellana.

In Nelson Canlas' report on "24 Oras," Monday, the actor assured his friends and fans that he is looking forward to seeing everyone again.

"I really miss performing and collaborating, not just with my peers and my predecessors, but also with the audience—the rapport."

"I'm okay and I really really appreciate the sentiments. I miss all of you guys right back so I can't wait to see all of you again. Let's collaborate, let's work on something—all of us," he said.

He added, however, that he'll stay in the United States, where he is already working on a few projects.

"We got a few things lined up. I have been lucky enough to be a part of a series of shows. Hopefully, I can start plugging them soon," he said.

The actor made his first public appearance after his split with Carla when he served as a special judge at the recently concluded Miss Philippines USA in San Diego, California.

In June, Tom revealed he is already divorced from Carla, saying that he's "accepted her decision that it is time to move forward, independent from each other."
