Camille Prats reflects on relationship, family, and love

Camille Prats and VJ Yambao really do have the most endearing love story.

On Instagram Monday, the "Mars Pa more" host opened up about her love for her family anew and shared some before and after snaps from the past seven years.

“[Seven] years ago, our little family (Tatan and I) said yes to having someone take care of us. [Seven] years later (swipe left) this is what we call family now. From a family of [two] to a family of [six],” Camille shared.

Her first photo was a throwback shot of her and eldest son Nathan, whom she had from her first marriage with Anthony Linsangan.

Anthony passed away in 2011 due to nasopharyngeal carcinoma.

Camille then posted her second chance at love: a group photo of her family with VJ. They are now a family of six, with Camille and VJ having two kids Nolan and Nala, Camille's son Noah and VJ's son from a previous relationship, Ice.

Camille and VJ first met as grade school students. As fate would have it, they met again by chance at a beach in California after 20 years of not seeing each other.

Camille and VJ dated for two years before getting married in 2017.

“God is indeed faithful. He knows the deepest desires of our hearts, I didn't know this is what [seven] years after looks like but He knew. Faith is knowing something good is about to happen even when you don't know what it is or when it will be. And this is my testimony of His love and faithfulness. He is truly amazing,” Camille continued.

Camille then called on her followers to reflect on their lives for the past seven years. “Where has life brought you now? Are the things that have you now the things that you've prayed for? what are you most thankful for the past years?” she asked.

Ever thankful for her blessings, the devout woman of faith ended her post, “It's nice to [be] reminded once in a while [of] where we used to be and what has been. Makes us feel grateful for where our lives have brought us and to be hopeful for more grateful days like this.” — LA, GMA News
