Richard Gomez says he’s a ‘makuha ka sa tingin’ type of dad to Juliana Gomez

Richard Gomez says he can be very strict with his unica hija Juliana Gomez.

In an episode of “Surprise Guest with Pia Arcangel,” which aired on Tuesday, the actor turned politician said his being strict with Juliana was his way of teaching discipline.

“I’m not strict naman with the way she [dresses] up, I allow her naman to be with her friends but kapag sinabi ko na kailangan 10:00 nasa bahay ka na, nasa bahay ka na by that time,” the Leyte representative told Pia.

According to Goma, he’s not strict in the way that he gets physical. Instead, he’s more of giving Juliana “the look.”

“Hindi naman ako strikto na namamalo. I’m more of ‘makuha ka sa tingin,’” he said.

Regarding suitors, Richard said he just wanted them to court Juliana properly at home.

“Kung may manliligaw [sa kaniya] wala naman problema, at least manligaw sila sa bahay, ayaw ko na nagtatago [sila],” he said.

Richard agreed that Juliana having suitors at the right age was part of life, so he and wife Lucy welcomed the idea.

“Ayaw ko naman na tatakas takas [siya], so visit and join us for dinner, let’s go out together, ganun,” he said.
