Pokwang and Lee O'Brian have split last year, Ogie Diaz confirms

Pokwang and Lee O'Brian have separated.

Ogie Diaz confirmed the news in a YouTube vlog with Mama Loi and Dyosa Pockoh Friday. According to him, the couple split in November 2021.

"Sa totoo lang, masalimuot eh pero ang sinabi lang ni Pokwang ay 'ang importante, hindi kami magka-galit nung naghihiwalay kami ni Papang,'" he said.

Ogie said he once asked Pokwang how she was doing. To which, she answered: "Sanay naman akong nag-iisa. Noon pa naman, 'di ba? Alam mo 'yan. Kilala mo ako."

"Ang importante sa akin, mga anak ko. Basta kasama ko mga anak ko, maski may partner o wala," she added.

Ogie said Pokwang and Lee are in a co-parenting relationship for their four-year-old daughter Malia.

"Kapag ako (ang) nagte-taping o nagla-lock in, tinatawagan ko si Papang para siya naman ang tumoka kay Malia sa bahay," he recalled Pokwang telling him.

He added that Lee is currently away, focusing on business, and is set to fly to the United States soon.

Pokwang and Lee welcomed Malia in 2018. The actress has an older daughter named Ria Mae and a deceased son from a previous relationship.

According to a Pep.ph report, the two met while taping for the 2014 film "EDSA Woolworth."

GMA News Online has reached out to Pokwang for comment, but she is currently in taping. We will update once a statement has been given.
