What attracted Bea Alonzo to Dominic Roque? His confidence

Bea Alonzo opened about a lot of things in the most recent episode of GMA News and Public Affairs’ showbiz podcast “Updated with Nelson Canlas,” among them, her relationship with Dominic Roque.

According to Bea, what truly attracted her to him is Dominic's quiet confidence.

Saying that she is “sobrang happy,” Bea shared how Dominique is “very supportive, always there for me, and he just lets me be the kind of woman I want to be.”

Nelson brought up how Dominic was like at Bea’s vlog screening event. While the actress was busy interacting with a lot of people, Dominic stood strong in a corner, looking over to see whether Bea needed something.

“Actually, isa 'yon sa mga pinaka nagustuhan ko tungkol sa kanya," Bea said. "He's just not insecure at all.” 

“Parang it takes a very confident man to let the woman shine and not compete with that attention that she's getting. It takes a mature and confident man and that's what I like about him. He's just not insecure, [and] he supports me,” the actress said.

Bea confirmed her relationship to Dominic last August, after going on a trip to California together. 

Just last January, the couple celebrated their first anniversary.
