Mark Herras and Nicole Donesa's son Baby Corky is now a US citizen

Mark Herras and Nicole Donesa's son, Baby Corky, is now a dual Filipino and American citizen just like his mom!

The proud parents shared the milestone on Instagram with an adorable family photo outside the US Embassy.

"Guess who got their Blue Passport? Thank you God, for making Corky's Dual Citizenship successful," Nicole said.

Nicole was raised in the United States and moved to the Philippines in her late teens.

In Aubrey Carampel's report on "24 Oras Weekend," Sunday, Mark said he and Nicole planned to get a visa for Corky as soon as possible.

The family will be traveling to the United States after Mark's work commitments.

The Kapuso actor will soon be entering a lock-in taping for a new teleserye, so he is preparing to be away from his wife and son for some time.

"This time kasi iba na 'yung bonding mag-ama, iba na 'yung bonding namin ng pamilya ko," he said. "So I think mas hahanapin ako ni Corky this time kasi kahit papaano ano siya, alam niya pag wala ako."

("This time, our father and son bonding is different, our family bonding is different. So I think Corky will look for me this time because he knows when I am not around.")

Mark and Nicole got engaged in June 2020 and welcomed Baby Corky in February last year. They tied the knot in a civil ceremony in September.
