Chito Miranda reveals how he courted wife Neri
Chito Miranda is perhaps the king of wife appreciation posts on social media.
The Parokya ni Edgar frontman has written many notes about Neri Naig, singing her praises and expressing his pride that he married her.
On Instagram, Sunday, Chito flexed his wife yet again and revealed how exactly he won Neri's heart and bested her many other handsome and rich suitors.
"Ako lang ang bukod-tanging nagpa-tawa sa kanya ng wa-poise," he said. "Sinigurado ko na sobrang enjoy siya kapag kasama niya ko, para ma-miss niya ko kapag di na niya ako kasama."
("I'm the only one who made her lose her poise while laughing. I made sure that she enjoyed being with me, so she would miss when when I am not with her.")
Chito said he was not Neri's type and he was never her crush, but he made sure that she would yearn for him in his absence.
"Trinato ko siya bilang prinsesa na kabarkada pero may malisya [I treated her like a princess and a friend but with a motive]," the musician spilled further.
"I made sure na spoiled siya sa akin (prinsesa), pero kaya ko siyang kutusan at patawanin (barkada), at sinigurado ko na alam niya na hindi lang 'friendship' ang habol ko sa kanya (malisya)," he added.
("I made sure to spoil her [princess], but I can hit her playfully and make her laugh [friend], and I made sure that she knows it's not just 'friendship' that I wanted from her [motive].")
He then quipped that Neri told him "I love you" months later and he replied back "I know," channeling Han Solo and Princess Leia.
"Pinagyayabang ko talaga na sinagot niya ako, at na asawa ko na siya ngayon," he said.
Chito and Neri tied the knot in 2014. They have two sons together, Miggy and Cash.
