Mavy and Cassy Legaspi pay tribute to their late grandfather a.k.a. 'Daddy Groovy'
Mavy and Cassy Legaspi took to Instagram to pay tribute to their late grandfather Reggie Villaroel, whom they fondly call “Daddy Groovy.”
Mavy started his post by thanking his lolo for everything and for “being so strong” for all of them.
“[Rest] easy but keep drinking pilsen for me up there! Cheers!” the Kapuso actor said.
He promised his Daddy Groovy that he would try his best to keep the smile on his face despite what their family is going through right now.
“Don’t worry, I’ll keep mom safe,” Mavy reassured his grandfather.
Meanwhile, Mavy’s twin sister Cassy also looked back on some of her fondest memories with her Daddy Groovy, posting throwback photos that reveal his true joie de vivre and well, love for beer.
“The strongest man I know. I love you forever Daddy Groovy. [Fresh] air Daddy Regy,” Cassy wrote with a white heart emoji.
How close were Mavy and Cassy to their Groovy Daddy? In their IG posts, the Legaspi twins both included photos of their lolo's wallet that contained their printed pictures. How sweet is that?
