Kylie Padilla reveals she and Aljur Abrenica are now friends

Kylie Padilla has revealed that she and her estranged husband Aljur Abrenica are now friends.

On the podcast “Updated with Nelson Canlas,” Kylie said she and Aljur were “surprisingly okay na” a year after their separation.

“We’re friends, we're good na,” she said. “Good things take time. Ako kasi gusto ko kasi goods na kami kaagad e, kasi nga ayoko ng may negative emotions.”

The actress said it didn’t happen overnight, but she was glad that they were finally in good terms. She also wished Aljur happiness.

“I want him to be happy kasi unang una siya ’yong tatay …” she said. “We’ve lived a life together and I never wanna see him as sad as he was when we’re married.”

Kylie said that while she regretted that their family was no longer complete, she was glad that now they could take care of their children better.

“I don’t never want us to ever feel like how we made each other feel,” she said. “’Yon nga nakakalungkot, hindi na buo ang pamilya naming, but kung ang kapalit no’n is we take care of our kids better kasi we’re happier.”

Kylie also confirmed in the podcast that she was dating.

The actress is set to star on the GMA Telebabad drama “Bolera,” which premieres May 30. – RC, GMA News
