Paul Salas on dating Mikee Quintos: 'Gusto ko ito na 'yung last'
Paul Salas is having the time of life after confirming that he is dating Sparkle actress Mikee Quintos.
The pair has been dropping sweet posts on Instagram, making fans and fellow celebrities kilig with their cuteness.
In an episode of "Suprise Guest With Pia Arcangel," Paul shared that their courtship began after wrapping up taping for "The Lost Recipe."
"After lang doon kami nagkaligawan, doon lang kami sa papunta ng dating side na," he said.
"Nakita lang din namin ang connection namin na minsan pag sa taping nag-uusap kami ang tagal na pala, hindi na namin alam, ganun," he added.
Paul said that they are taking things slow and steady, keeping the long-term future in mind.
"Hindi kami nagmamadali, kumbaga gusto namin sure na. Kumbaga pa-25 na po ako, so gusto ko parang kung ito naman, gusto ko ito na 'yung last," he said.
Paul had his fair share of relationships in the past. He previously dated actress Barbie Imperial and J-pop singer Taki Saito.
"Talagang tinanggap lang din namin na hindi kami magwo-work," he said about his relationship with Barbie. "Kumbaga ginawa na lang namin as marami kaming natutunan na lessons doon ganun, para sa next na ibibigay ni God na relationship."
With Taki, meanwhile, Paul said it had been difficult to be in a long-distance relationship amid the pandemic.
With COVID-19 protocols still in place at present, Paul said there are times and he and Mikee get busy with their respective lock-in tapings.
All is well, however, as they are not in a hurry and are still able to find the time to spend together. In a recent Instagram photo, the two shared a meal and Paul waxed poetic in the caption.
"Para kang anghel na umaawit sa langit aabutin kita kahit maraming balakid kasi mahalaga ika'y mapasa'kin."
