Alice Dixson opens up about her ‘panganay’ Sassa: ‘She came into my life, teenager pa lang siya’

Alice Dixson has opened up about Sassa, the daughter she introduced as her “panganay” on Mother’s Day.

On Nelson Canlas’ “24 Oras” report Thursday, Alice said they had always been together, but she had not been able to share details with the public until recently.

“She came into my life, teenager pa lang siya,” said the “First Lady” actress.

“Dahil strict ’yung father niya, parang ang hirap ko siya ipakilala sa buong mundo. Hindi totoo na ngayon ko lang siya na-introduce,” she added.

“Sa totoo lang, lagi ko siyang kasama sa mga lakad ko starting, I don’t know, let’s say at least 10 years ago. Kasama ko siya sa mga lakad ko although hindi ko siya binabanggit.”

According to Alice, even if she isn’t the biological mom, she loves Sassa and is very proud of her. The actress also acknowledged Sassa’s mom, who took care of her growing up.

“Buhay naman ang mom niya. Ayoko naman angkinin ang credit sa pagpapalaki ng kanyang anak, yet I was there because hiwalay sila ng father and mother niya,” said Alice.

“Gusto ko rin ibigay ’yung respeto sa kanyang mom din na siya talagang nagpalaki sa kanyang anak.”

In May 2021, Alice surprised everyone when she introduced her baby Aura, who she welcomed through surrogacy.

She has since been sharing some of their bonding moments on Instagram.
