Kylie Padilla admits to having fears as dad Robin Padilla joins politics

Kylie Padilla has admitted to having fears as her father Robin Padilla leads the senatorial race.

On Nelson Canlas’ “24 Oras” report, Thursday, the Kapuso actress said she did not expect her dad to join politics after years of refusing to do so.

“May mga fears din kami. Syempre politics ’yan eh. Kahit anong mangyari, may fears ka,” she said.

“Magulo pero I’m just thinking about what my dad wants and his dreams, ’yung mga gusto niya mangyari para sa mga tao. I’m happy and I’m proud of him.”

Kylie said her dad had always been very helpful to others and she was happy that he would able to do more of it in the Senate.

As his daughter, meanwhile, Kylie said she wanted stay grounded and not think of herself as “a senator’s daughter.”

In an Instagram post, Kylie said she supported her dad with all her heart and wasn’t biased in her choices because she did her “homework.” – Franchesca Viernes/RC, GMA News
