Michelle Madrigal moves into new home after divorce: ‘I'm happy that I'm here’

Michelle Madrigal and her daughter Anika have moved into their new home after finalizing her divorce with former husband Troy Woolfolk.

In a recent YouTube vlog, Michelle gave a tour of their “cute, tiny place” and shared how their move has been going. 

“All the feels like packing and all that, it’s finally coming to an end of not living in the same house,” she said. “[The new house] is tiny, but it’s mine. It’s my own space, definitely a fresh start.”

“Nalulungkot din ako syempre. I don’t think happy tayo kapag maghihiwalay. I’m just now getting Anika ready for having two separate homes, bit it’s a fresh start so I’m happy that I’m here,” she added.

Apart from feeling sad, Michelle said she’s also been feeling overwhelmed with emotions. Nevertheless, she knows that they will get used to the change.

“I’m just excited, nervous, lahat na ng feelings nandon (pati) takot, uncertainty. I know, by God’s grace, everything is going to be fine. I’ve been put to a test through and through and He’s always been there.”

“My faith is here. It’s just that minsan, syempre tao lang din, ‘di natin napipigilan maging negative, right? I honestly just try to stay busy para ‘di ako masyadong mag-isip. I know Anika and I are gonna be okay.”

Michelle revealed last year that she and Troy have separated for not being compatible, but are still living in the same house for they are “still navigating this co-parenting together.”

They tied the knot in April 2019 after meeting via Tinder. They welcomed their daughter Anika in 2017.
