Rufa Mae Quinto says her husband Trevor Magallanes is supportive of her return to showbiz
Rufa Mae Quinto shared that her husband Trevor Magallanes is supportive of her return to showbiz now that she has officially signed with Sparkle GMA Artist Center.
"Ang maganda sakanya, naninwiala siya na ang talent ko talaga ay pag-aartista kaya lagi siyang [support] na galingan ko, ayusin ko, take care of myself kasi kailangan maging mabuti ka ring example dahil mommy ka na rin," she told GMA News Online.
The Kapuso comedian said her husband Trevor trusts and believes not only in her talent but also in her capability as a mother and wife.
"'Yun yung maganda sakanya may tiwala siya at tsaka nirerespeto niya ‘yung trabaho ko at he believes in us, sa pagiging artista at pagiging mother and wife," she said.
"Kaya andito rin 'yung anak namin siya na lang pupunta samin kaya yun din ang maganda saming mag-asawa," she added.
Since her husband Trevor is based in the US, they will be having a long distance relationship set up.
"With Trev OK naman sakanya kasi siyempre ayaw naman din niya two years naman din kaming magkasama wala naman akong ginagawa doon so OK lang naman na magtrabaho after mahigit dalawang tao," she said.
"Todo todo namin to the highest level ng dalawang taon [mag-trabaho]," she added."Mamimiss ko siya, mamimiss niya ako, mamimiss niya 'yung anak namin. Hindi madali pero mas maganda kesa walang ginagawa."
Rufa Mae and Trevor tied the knot in 2016. Together, they have a 5-year-old daughter named Athena.
Rufa Mae, who is known for her funny and sexy roles, said she thinks she can now do mother figure roles.
The new Sparkle artist can be watched on "Tadhana" on April 23 and April 30. She also guested on "Family Feud." —JAB, GMA News.
