Rufa Mae on the death of her brother: 'Grabe pala malagasan ng kapatid'

Rufa Mae Quinto is mourning the death of her brother, Vincent Sy.

On Instagram Thursday, the commedianne posted old photos with her brother on Instagram and said a prayer for the eternal repose of his soul.

"Umuwi pala kami ni Alexandria galing America para sa yo Vincent, ang pogi at mabait kong kapatid," Rufa wrote tagging her daughter.

"Mahal ka namin," she continued, this time tagging Vincent.

And then Rufa revealed the kind of grief she had at losing her brother. "Grabe pala malagasan ng kapatid. Iba din," she said.

Friends from the showbiz industry commented their love and support for Rufa during her time of grief.

Rufa had just come home after spending two years in US with her husband. She and daughter Alexandria were only supposed to take a two-week vacation when they got caught up in the widespread lockdown because of COVID-19. — LA, GMA News
