China Jocson mourns passing of husband Tarlac Rep. Charlie Cojuangco just months after their wedding
China Jocson mourned the passing of her husband Tarlac 1st District Representative Carlos "Charlie" Cojuangco who died last February.
"If you will ask me if I'll do it all over again knowing it will be this short, I will," China wrote on her Facebook page on Sunday sharing a sweet photo of the two of them together.
"Because I would rather have had one of his embrace, his kiss, one hold of his hand, than my lifetime without him," she added. "I love you my Charlie, rest well."
The former Kapuso broadcast journalist announced the unfortunate news about her husband last February 22.
Rep. Charlie Cojuangco, 58, son of the late businessman Eduardo "Danding" Cojuangco Jr., married China, a former Kapuso broadcast journalist, in Tarlac last October. He was previously married to actress and TV host Rio Diaz who passed away in 2004.
Last October, Cojuangco filed his certificate of candidacy for reelection. In November, his son Jaime Diaz Cojuangco substituted for him, filing a COC with the Tarlac Provincial Comelec office. —JAB, GMA News.
