Mavy Legaspi reveals he surprised Kyline Alcantara on her Valentine’s Day trip with family in Tagaytay

On Valentine’s Day, Mavy Legaspi made Kyline Alcantara’s heart skip a beat when he made a surprise appearance during her family’s trip in Tagaytay.

In an online interview with the press on Thursday, Mavy revealed they weren’t supposed to meet on that day, but he and Kyline’s mom had other plans.

“Her mom contacted me, in-invite niya ako,” he said.

“Tita was saying na sana successful ang surprise so the night before, sinasabi ko kay Kyline na, ‘wala tayong Valentine’s, so pagbalik na lang sa Manila,’” he added.

“Noong Monday morning, pumunta ako sa Tagaytay then I surprised her.”

Apart from giving her flowers and “something very personal,” they also filmed for a vlog. “It was such a great day,” he said.

Kyline, meanwhile, said she wasn’t expecting anything, but she also knew Mavy wouldn’t disappoint.

“Wala talaga akong alam, as in,” she said. “Meron pa rin naman pong parang, baka i-surprise niya ’ko. May hope pa rin because I know Mavy’s really romantic, pero nagulat pa rin.”

Kyline said this was her best Valentine’s Day so far. Apart from Mavy’s surprise, she was also touched by his efforts toward her mom.

“I can confidently say na ’yon ’yung pinakamasayang Valentine’s ever ko kasi kumpleto lahat,” she said, referring to the people with her on that day.

“Ang pinaka-big gesture na ginawa niya, yes, pumunta siya ng Tagaytay, yes, sinurprise niya ako pero pinakamahalagang ginawa niya sa’kin do’n is binigyan niya ng flowers ’yung mom ko.”

Just before Valentine’s Day, Mavy wrote a sweet message for Kyline, thanking her “for making my heart happy.”

Fans had been speculating about Mavy and Kyline’s relationship since they shared vague and teasing photos referring to their special “someone” in June.

In an interview with the press, the two said their relationship was more than just a love team and it wasn’t just for publicity. – RC, GMA News
