Faith Da Silva says she is ‘happily single’ this Valentine’s Day

Faith Da Silva may be single, but she is very much in high spirits this coming Valentine’s Day.

In an online interview with the press on Tuesday, Faith said she’d been “very much single” for about two years now. She also isn’t focused on looking for a significant other.

“I’m not lonely. I’m happily single,” she said. “The time will come na ’yung tao para sa ’kin ay darating and hindi ko kailangan mag-worry sa paghihintay [dahil] sigurado ako na worth it ’yon.”

She clarified, however, that she was not closing any doors. But for now, she enjoys the time she has for herself.

“Na-realize ko talaga na kapag single ka, ang dami mong bagay na magagawa na makakapagpa-happy sa’yo and ’di mo mare-realize kapag nasa relationship ka kasi boxed yung happiness mo,” she said.

“Mas marami akong time for others and also, mas marami akong time para sa sarili ko. ’Yun ’yung pinaka-importante na natutunan ko.”

According to Faith, she will be spending this year’s Valentine’s Day with her mom and brother. They do this every year if their schedule permits.

“’Yung family natin is ’yung mga partners natin in life na constant, hindi mawawala sa buhay mo. Instead of trying to look for a Valentine’s date na partner, pwede tingnan kung sino yung nasa harap natin,” she said.

“[It can be] our families or friends na pwedeng-pwede naman i-date. Hindi naman kailangan romantic.”

On Feb. 25, Faith will release her single “Sana Sabihin Mo Na Lang” under GMA Playlist. According to her, the songs is about having a hard time letting go despite the pain of being together. – RC, GMA News
