Kryz Uy and Slater Young’s 1-year-old son Scott Knoa tests positive for COVID-19

Kryz Uy and Slater Young’s one-year-old son Scott Knoa has tested positive for COVID-19.

In a YouTube vlog uploaded on Wednesday, Kryz said Scottie’s symptoms included high fever, which had gone up to 39 degrees Celsius.

“He was fine and active all morning, and suddenly had dropped spirits, no appetite, and no energy. I was worried!” she said. “It’s sad ’cause he’s such a happy, active kid and suddenly, he’s not active at all.”

After undergoing several procedures including a swab for COVID-19, Scottie’s test came back positive.

“He’s the only one among all of us who tested positive. I’m guessing because he’s the only one among us that’s unvaccinated,” Kryz said. “It was so painful to watch him be so tired and weak.”

Before ending the video, Scottie assured everyone that he was doing better and recovering: “Okay na.”

Scott Knoa, who will be turning two in June, will be a kuya to his little brother in a few months. – RC, GMA News
